As an Appointment Scheduler, you will be responsible for making appointments for patients following medical practice procedures.  Tasks may be integrated into another position, e.g. receptionist/registration clerk, or medical assistant.

Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office address: 280 Farner Place, The Villages, FL  32163

Appointment Scheduler Role Overview:

  • Use customer service principles and techniques to deal with patients calmly and pleasantly.
  • Schedule appointments by phone, in person, or email.
  • Ensure smooth flow of the schedules, using computerized system for appointment making, and maintaining accurate and complete records.

Additional Information
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of experience in an appointment scheduling position.
  • Detail oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) system


Preferred

  • Experience working within a medical practice setting.


Appointment Scheduler Working hours:
Monday to Friday
Scheduled 40 hours per week
